Founded a sports-related startup in a different field with zero career experience

While enjoying sports, was never actively involved in sports during student life. Spent working life engulfed in overtime, leading to the typical middle-aged “metabo” body shape. Decided to change during the New Year at the age of 50, starting with two hours of brisk walking and revising eating habits, rapidly losing weight and feeling healthier, less tired.
Started jogging soon after, experiencing the runner’s high and realizing how running positively impacted mental state. Since then, exercise became the cornerstone of life vitality. Set annual goals to challenge personal limits, continuously participating in more demanding races such as full marathons, long-distance swimming, triathlons, and ultra-trail runs as long as 100miles.

Meanwhile, as global industrial trends shifted towards healthcare and IoT, got involved in these new fields at work, increasing opportunities to learn deeply about medicine, health, and exercise, experiencing the benefits of sports firsthand and developing a strong interest in this field.

While enjoying running, struggled with being slow. Discovered many challenges when researching ideal forms: there was hardly any information available in books, TV, magazines, or the internet explaining the ideal form in clear terms (around 2017). Decided to study form for personal improvement and, upon achieving results, targeted solving this issue for others as a business opportunity.

Had knowledge and aptitude in cameras, 3D motion capture, and software, but lacked programming skills, sports trainer knowledge, networks, and business experience. Therefore, self-studied programming after 20 years, obtained a sports instructor qualification at the age of 60, and diligently started developing the app. Lacked business skills to run a company, but after a year of technical development, confirmed the principles of the product, and boldly founded the company in 2019. Since then, has been continuously developing technology to upgrade the product.
